I do not understand it, either…it is very unprofessional of an agent to respond that way. It also serves to minimalize, IMHO, the importance of a home inspection.

You don’t necessarily even need to be as close as you were for momma birds to get defensive. Grackles always nest in the trees in our office parking lot. Last year, one mom was so protective of her nest, she’d divebomb anybody walking nearby. As in close enough to feel her feathers on your arm, despite being 20 or more feet away from the TREE, much less the nest.
